| Midnight Ride of Paul Revere |
On the night of April 18, Paul
Revere and William Dawes warn the patriots that the redcoats were coming. They
used candles as one of the ways to indicate the warning. One candle if by land,
two candles if by sea. William Dawes and Dr. Samuel Prescott managed to escape the redcoats that were about
to attack.
